Hi, my name is Charlie and I create the rings you see here.  My beautiful wife and two children help by supporting me and my passion.

My journey into creating things actually began by destroying things.  When I was young, I was always fascinated with the way things worked and how they were put together.  I was always taking my toys apart and trying to reassemble them, just to see how it all worked.  As I grew, it turned into putting things together, anything from puzzles to models.  I remember sitting by the fireplace and watching my father use his trusty pocket knife to carve figures from scrap blocks of wood.  As a young adult, I remember him building a few tables and even creating me a coffee table of his own design.  I was amazed that he could build these things.  Later on, when I moved into my first home, he helped me build my first workbench in my garage.  That is when my true passion for woodworking began.  I spent every free moment in my workshop, honing my skills, building everything from furniture to clocks to cutting boards.  If it could be made out of wood, I wanted to try it.  That was over 10 years ago and my passion for woodworking is still growing each day.

I stumbled upon wooden rings one day while researching an unrelated woodworking topic.  I thought it was an interesting project and set out to make a ring for my wife and myself.  I quickly realized this was going to be more of a challenge than I had originally thought.  The challenge inspired me even more.  After much trial and error, my rings began to resemble the images in my mind.

With bentwood rings, there are endless combinations and possibilities.  They pose a unique challenge in creating something robust and strong, yet delicate and elegant.  Through my passion for woodworking, I’m confident I can create a unique ring that is representative of you.
